Aperitivo takes its name from L’aperitivo, which refers to an integral part of Italian culture that began in Milan and has spread throughout the region. It’s all about catching up with friends, relaxing after a long day and enjoying an aperitif and snack. That’s exactly what Aperitivo encourages you to do – here dishes have a Sicilian twist, to provide a taste of the south of Italy, in the north of Scotland. Everything is freshly prepared, and you’ll enjoy your food and drink that bit more in the glamorous and retro 1940s designed surroundings. The family-run business is open seven days a week for lunch and evening meals, and diners have a choice of light lunches, tapas in the form of meze dishes, set menus, or a la carte dining. There’s something for everyone, with special menus available for kids, vegans, large parties and seasonal events too.

Been a good few times, this was the nicest yet. I think the recipe for the aribatta has changed (or the chef) since I was there last, best yet!! Arancini is great and service is good. Pre theatre is great value & good portion sizes.
