Invercarse Hotel

Offering a convenient base for all of Dundee’s major attractions, the Invercarse Hotel is set in beautiful wooded grounds overlooking the River Tay to Fife. The former mansion house offers a private and secluded feel, but with everything you could possibly need only minutes away from the city. Each guest room comes with a flat screen television, a writing desk and calming neutral decor, so it’s perfect for those staying on business. The hotel’s lounge and bar offer a friendly and warm ambience in the evening, and the Redwood Restaurant is renowned for its imaginative use of local, fresh produce. Lunch and supper is served every day of the week, and Sunday offers the extremely popular High Tea menu. Indulge in a breast of locally shot pheasant, complete with bread sauce and crushed potatoes, or a pumpkin and Bramley apple risotto, served with parsnip crisps. The hotel’s Ballroom is also a popular venue for weddings, with large windows overlooking the gardens and a dancefloor to make that first song of the night perfect. Just contact the team at Invercarse and they’ll be more than happy to help you plan that special day.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Invercarse. Room was large, and clean. Guess view could have been better. Food very good excellent portions. Liked location in nice part of the city. Was nice to see a wedding on and the hotel as busy as it was.

Staff were very polite and approachable, dealt with any needs. Despite covid times it was a very enjoyable stay. Rooms were great especially my mum and dad disability room, which was great for them. The only nag was the 3 idiots that came to the bar on our last night, being rowdy and not wearing masks, where other guests were when needed. Otherwise very nice place to stay.

Attended the Invercarse for the annual Sportsman's Dinner hosted in the Ballroom. As always the staff at the Invercarse were top notch. Good food great service. If you are looking to host a function in Dundee this place should definitely be on your list
