Authentic Japanese Sushi Restaurant found in Finnieston Glasgow, offering a variety of interesting and tasty dishes unique to Hanami. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable and, of his 26 years experience, the sushi Chef spent 10 of those years working in Japan. The produce is incredibly fresh, flavorsome and mostly locally sourced with high quality ingredients used throughout the menu. There’s a large sashimi selection, with its palate-cleansing freshness. Chef special sushi rolls, all tailored to marry the best ingredients into one perfect sushi roll for that huge bite of deliciousness. All of the dishes are defined by the pure, harmonious taste of excellent Japanese cuisine. There’s not just sushi in this atmospheric restaurant, they also offer the beautiful mouth watering Wagyu Beef in different Japanese styles, from a Wagyu sukiyaki to Wagyu fried rice and then there’s the tempura in impeccably seasoned batter with a lovely light crunch. It’s all as crisp as a Kyoto mountainside and just as refreshing. Complementing the flawless kitchen offerings are a range of plum wines and sake that pair beautifully with the extensive menu. It is no wonder this restaurant was voted as one of the best Japanese Sushi restaurants in all of Scotland in the Best Asian Food Awards 2022.

Best sushi in Glasgow. Yakitori less good but still decent. Wife lived the tofu option and drinks were tasty too. Excellent service.

High end quality Japanese food. Was a nice change to the casual Japanese restaurants although not too much difference on cost. Fresh and tasty. Each dish was full of flavour and looked amazing. Extensive menu so plenty of opportunities to visit and have something different each time.
