The Carron Fish Bar is an award winning, family run fish and chip shop located in the heart of Stonehaven. Lorraine and Charles Watson took over the business in March 2012 and since then they have worked tirelessly with their team to create fantastic fish and chips with a smile. The shop currently holds the NFFF Fish and Chips Quality Award, this is an industry recognised award for best practice and service. In September 2019, the Carron Fish Bar was awarded Scotlands No.1 Fish and Chip shop in The National Fish and Chip Awards 2020!

We parked at the harbour car park and wanted fish and chips as we were at the coast. Whilst there are a lot of seafood options, we had trouble finding just fish and chips to take away. Carron was the perfect solution. It’s not far from the beach and the service was super quick. The food was also very good. To top it off even the seagulls didn’t bother us, what more could you ask for.
