Aberdonians love for food is all thanks to little, local eateries like the Foodstory Cafe. With a simple yet innovative menu, they are committed to serving food which will leave your full tummies feeling happy and healthy. Serving mostly plant based food at the cafe they feel that focusing on a more veggie diet is friendlier to the planet. They use a lot of vegetables in their dishes and they use local eggs, chutneys, jams and then make everything else themselves- soups, hot pots, dips, salads, cakes etc. Hosting a range of different events and live music throughout the week also makes it very appealing for an evening drink; especially during the very generous happy hour from 5-9pm on Tue-Thu. They have done their bit for the environment too, building the space from recycled materials and dishing up only local, organic, free range food. These passionate people are still only at the beginning of their journey, so come and visit to see how they’re doing!

I have had lunch orders delivered to my home since the beginning of lockdown. Food is delicious and service excellent. The veggie boxes are available to order online but the shop also has a good selection.
