We are a neighbourhood bistro and wine bar serving humble dishes, inspired by places we’ve been and people we’ve met. Our menu changes with the ebb and flow of the seasons, but what is always constant is the attention and care given to every ingredient and guest that comes through the door. A small restaurant like ours needs more than just great food to survive. It needs a great team. When it comes to the menu our ethos is simple. Appreciate the potential of both highly valued and undervalued ingredients by treating them with respect. Simple dressings, proper amounts of butter, a wood fired barbecue, and classic cooking are all part of what makes us Belzan. We buy local when it makes sense. We make everything we can by hand. We choose produce from farmers that are careful about their impact on their environment, and wines that reflect the same ethos.
