The food was absolutely first class, I can certainly recommend the Scottish tasting menu. Although expensive the meal was entirely worth it and definitely a top choice for a special occasion.

This hotel is great spent 3 nights there inbound and another on the outbound leg of my trip. They are up the stairway of Waverly train station and less then 1 minute walk. They made me a car rental, got a discount, they had the car delivered to the hotel to me, then when I came back I just dropped it at the hotel, they delivered my final receipt to my room. Excellent staff throughout hotel, good food breakfast was excellent. Your 15 minute walk from the castle and lots of stuff to see within walking distance. Concierge is great at the hotel for help.
