Piersland House Hotel

Piersland House Hotel in Troon is a beautifully restored country house hotel. With its glorious gardens and grounds, the house was once the residence of Sir Alexander Walker, son of Johnnie Walker of Scotch whisky fame. Piersland’s secluded location means is close to Troon Beach and the shores of the Firth of Clyde, making it ideal if you plan on booking a ferry trip to the Isle of Arran. Each of its en-suite bedrooms has been individually decorated, and come in a diverse array of styles for you to choose from. Perhaps you fancy a room with a view of the gardens, a superior room or even the lodge? Whatever you choose, the hotel’s spacious lounge and highly-acclaimed restaurant are open to all, and provide a stylish and cosy space in which to relax on your weekend away. The restaurant offers a range of toothsome dishes, including some inventive starters, but it also serves traditional mains to keep you full and contented during the colder months. The team of friendly staff are more than happy to meet all your requirements, and can arrange to welcome you with champagne, or even chocolates and fresh flowers for the romantics.

Went here for my birthday dinner with my mum recently and the food was amazing. The staff were also very friendly and great at their job considering it was a unexpected busy Tuesday night. I always love the piersland and choose it over all the other restaurants in Troon and I thought this particular time was warranted a review!
