Not plain old beer for Ayr café with a continental fancy The Meridian, but rather bier. And they do stock a decent, trans-world selection of the stuff, be it draught or bottled, from Scottish brews like WEST Hefeweizen and St Mungo’s and Three Hops Edinburgh Lager to Samuel Adams and Brooklyn from the USA, Kirin Ichiban from Japan, Singha from India, Belgian Vedett, Estonian Viru, Argentinian Quilmes and so on. The food (served from breakfast until dinner) includes staples like pizza and pasta, old British classics like pies, burgers and fish and chips, with the addition of a small tapas selection, so there's lots to choose from.
