You’ll find many of your favourite shops under one roof at CastleCourt, in the very centre of Belfast. Over 80 big name outlets are crammed within this capacious Royal Avenue retail outlet, in the city’s upmarket Cathedral Quarter. In addition to many High Street favourites, there are 15 terrific restaurants, eateries and coffee shops in the food court – ideal when the weight of those bags and the rumble of your stomach compels you to take a break. Grab a bagel or a sandwich and rest those weary legs. After all, with the likes of Dorothy Perkins, Burton and New Look, in addition to a huge Debenhams spread across two floors, it’s easy to get carried away. If you’re visiting the complex with kids in tow, you’ll quickly realise that shopping in CastleCourt is optimised for all the family: while there are frequent children’s events in the centre, there’s also Playworld, a great soft play area for under fives. Located on the ground floor mall, Playworld is populated by slides, tunnels and climbing equipment, in addition to interactive zones. Parking is another of CastleCourt’s strong points with a whopping 1,600 spaces spread throughout several levels.

We were quick in and out, just wanted to try an Ulster fry breakfast as we were on holiday and stayed close by. Didn't spend a lot of time there though.
