Salt Dog Slims

Promising ‘steins and brines’, Salt Dog Slims is Liverpool’s hippest New York-inspired bar and eatery. Expect good beer, hearty food and a vibrant atmosphere that fuses the unique sensibilities of two of the world’s most fun lovin’ cities: Liverpool and New York. Head along to 79 Seel Street to experience the merriment and indulge in the most flavoursome of street foods. It has to be hot dogs, the signature meal of NY’s street sellers that can now be enjoyed in this cool little bar. Served in demi brioche buns, the dogs come in a variety of guises. Popular choices include the Mexican-inspired Aye Carumba, whose sausage is covered in spicy Puschka chilli, cheese, sour cream, chives, jalapeños and nachos. When your appetite is suitably sated, venture upstairs to 81 LTD. One of the city’s best-kept secrets, this characterful cocktail bar is themed to resemble a dark Prohibition-era drinking den. The cocktail list is replete with bold creations, from the Salt Dog Millionaire to the beguilingly-named Tonic and Tweed. Created by the same gurus behind Santa Chupitos and Tequieleria El Bandito, Salt Dog Slims is a venue like no other. Come to drink, come to eat, come to dance: whatever your reasons for paying a visit, you’re guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face.

We really, really enjoyed this bar, it's very cosy, the cocktails are delicious and the waiting staff are really attentive. It's somewhere I would definitely go again.

There are many, many bars in Liverpool but Salt Dog Slims bar/restaurant is in a different class. The selection of beers is amazing & the " DOGS "are the best I have ever seen or tasted. As a regular traveller I have never seen anything to compare to these!!
