Casa Salvatore might be owned by the ostensibly Scottish Colin Cruikshank and Bruce McGill, but the cuisine is nonetheless authentic. This Italian restaurant has a fantastically extensive menu, but don’t be put off by the number of choices on offer: the staff will be more than happy to make suggestions, and you’ll be pleased with whatever dish you finally plump for. The team sources fresh, local produce to create all of their delectable dishes, and offers outside catering and takeaway service as well. Choose from pizza, pasta and ice cream for an indulgent Friday night in, or simply give the team a ring if you’re planning an event that needs to be catered for. If you do choose to visit the restaurant (and we’d definitely recommend that you do) you’ll be absolutely spoilt for choice. The pollo contadina - a chicken breast marinated in balsamic vinegar and nestled upon an asparagus and wild mushroom risotto - is truly excellent. Casa Salvatore is the epitome of contemporary Italian cuisine, offering familiar dished with a modern twist.

Once again Casa Salvatore delivers excellent food and service. We had a selection of dishes to start that we shared and our mains of risotto and pasta which where tasty, can't wait to go back.
