Founded over 30 years ago by the charismatic Lesley Robertson, Ragamuffin sells a fantastic collection of designer knitwear, original clothes and accessories from the UK, Ireland and beyond. The original Ragamuffin is still situated on the pier at Armadale, on the Isle of Skye, while the second Ragamuffin is located in the heart of Edinburgh’s old town on the historic Royal Mile. The quirky, eclectic shops are a riot of colour & texture, and a reflection of Lesley’s sense of fun and style. Ragamuffin’s amazing range of accessories - some chic, some outlandish - complements the knitwear and clothing, with hats, scarves, gloves, socks, bags and slippers, as well as jewellery from around the world. Over the years, Ragamuffin has been nominated for, and won many awards – including Knitwear Retailer of the Year and the Talisker Award, and featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine’s 100 Best Places to Shop.
