seem like a chore but it needn’t
be that way. The Virgin Active
health club in Brighton is one
facility that rewards its clients
for their efforts to get off of
the couch. The health and
racquets club provides the
perfect environment in which
to get fit. The gym itself is an
interactive space equipped
with the newest and best
cardiovascular and resistance
apparatus including numerous
machines,
battle
ropes,
kettlebells and TRX cables.
Virgin Active also offers a range
of fitness classes, including
yoga, boxercise, zumba and
spinning. Elsewhere, there are
eight indoor tennis courts, three
outdoor courts, four badminton
courts and two squash courts.
If you wish to cool off during
the summer, why not knife into
the large outdoor swimming
pool? It’s surrounded by deck
chairs. Lucky members can
enjoy a well-earned soft drink
or alcoholic beverage as they
relax by the water. There’s
an indoor pool too, as well
as a kids’ pool. If you need to
catch up on some work, or
require a conference facility,
several meeting rooms are
available to members. All told,
Virgin Active is truly a first-class
fitness facility.
