Climbing centre meets theme park at Clip ‘n Climb,
an activity centre with 20 unique climbing challenges
that are designed to twist, turn, light and excite.
The east of England’s first Clip ‘n Climb is suitable
for everyone from four years upwards and is the
ultimate hands-on activity destination for friends and
family. Test your resolve and determination across a
series of amazing climbing challenges that will keep
everyone from little ones to experienced climbers
engaged. Climb commando-style on the Jungle
Gym, reach new heights on the Skyscraper, take the
Speed Climbing challenge, light up the board on the
Checkerplate and race your friends up Face to Face.
For the daring, sign up to experience the centre’s
two extreme challenges, Stairway to Heaven and
the Vertical Drop Slide. No climbing experience is
necessary and full training is given as part of your
90-minute session. With full equipment provided,
indoor climbing has never been easier or safer.
HOLY TRINITY CHURCH

Holy Trinity Church, founded in Saxon times, sits at
the heart of the ancient market town of Cambridge.
The church has played a fundamental role in the
life of the town, both as a place of worship and
at the cutting edge of social innovation. Locals
and visitors alike are welcome to pray, visit or to
hire its facilities. The first Holy Trinity Church in
Cambridge, next to the old Roman road, was just
a small thatched timber building that burnt down
in 1174. In 1189, a new stone church was begun.
The stonework of the west wall under the tower
is all that remains from the church of this period.
By around 1350, money was raised to widen the
nave and add two aisles. At the same time, a
steeple was added to the tower. Around 1400, two
transepts were constructed in the Perpendicular
style, with the church developing further during
the English Reformation.
