competition standard, Awesome
Wall will have an ascent for you.
The climbing centre provides
a safe environment in which to
flex your muscles and hone your
rope skills. With over 100 lines
and over 300 possible routes,
there’s ample room for everyone
to make their ascent to the top
at a pace that suits their ability
level. Small top rope walls are a
good place to get started, though
experienced climbers will make
a beeline for the 14-metre lead
wall, with its imposing 8-metre
overhang. Over the years, the
centre has hosted national
climbing competitions. Awesome
Walls isn’t just for climbing either:
it’s also for clambering, thanks
to two bouldering areas. These
will allow you to hone the sort of
multi-terrain skills that will come
handy when you head to the hills.

on-site parking and a dedicated
children’s climbing zone.
