Corporation ranks among the
top three live band venue and
alternative music nightclubs
in the UK, having been
gnawing at the coat tails of
the establishment since 1997.
Voted into the top three rock
clubs in the UK by Kerrang!,
Corporation has also won
Best Club Night in the UK
for DROP on Friday nights
in Metal Hammer. The club
nights are both spectacular
and varied, so revellers
are advised to choose their
poison wisely and check
the Club Nights section of
Corporation’s website for full
details. Live gigs are staged
regularly in rooms of 180, 300
and 900 capacities hooked
up to a powerful 22K rig.
Last year the venue staged
nearly 140 live shows. Based
in the Devonshire Quarter
of Sheffield city centre, the
club features three floors
containing six bars spread
across four rooms: the main
arena, small arena, upstairs,
and Local Authority. Live
acts are viewed in either the
main arena or small arenas
and are all-standing during
events whose sizes vary from
smaller upcoming bands of
the underground and local
scene to successful major
touring bands.
