Ponti’s Italian Kitchen is housed in a handsomely
designed development at Fox Valley, Stocksbridge.
The restaurant’s casual dining is centred around
using hand-picked ingredients from the proprietors’
cultural home in Emila-Romagna, northern Italy. A
brand new traditional style Italian restaurant, Ponti’s
Italian Kitchen is the first one to be established outside
of London. The family-run firm has restaurants on
Duke Street and Oxford Street in London and has
now brought its unique take on casual and authentic
Italian dining to Yorkshire. The brand new Ponti’s
Italian Kitchen covers 4,750 sq ft over two floors
and features a fabulous prosecco bar with a balcony
as well as a private dining room above the ground
floor restaurant – all beautifully designed to bring
an authentic piece of Italy to Sheffield. Whether it’s
a classic carpaccio, authentic homemade pasta, a
plate of perfectly cooked fish or beautiful torte, you’re
in for a treat.

Vero Gusto is a family-run Italian restaurant
and cafe situated on Norfolk Row. It serves up
authentic and award-winning food in the heart of
Sheffield city centre. Vero Gusto is passionate
about great food, wine and hospitality, and so
are its customers, many of whom have been
coming here since 2006. Situated just a stone’s
throw from Sheffield City Hall and within splashing
distance of the fountains in the Peace Gardens,
the eatery nurtures an enviable reputation for
excellent Italian cuisine, from pizza to pasta and
anti past to indulgent desserts. Fine wine is very
much a feature at Vero Gusto; the entire back
wall of the restaurant is given over to displaying
an extensive selection of Italian reds and whites.
The restaurant also hosts a number of special
wine-tasting events throughout the year, either to
showcase its latest finds or celebrate indigenous
grape varieties of specific regions.
