renown. It has premises all across the West
Coast, but its Ayr outlet can be found on the
town’s Cathcart Street. The Rainbow Rooms
brand was founded by Alan Stewart in 1979, with
its first premises opening in Glasgow. Since then,
it has gone from strength to strength, buoyed by
a reputation for new styles, new colours and new
products. In addition to ladies and gents’ cuts,
the salon cuts children’s hair and provides bridal
services – perfect for turning heads when the big
day comes. Colouring options include bleaching,
tints, permanent and semi-permanent colours.
