Annanhill Golf Course is one of the best
municipal courses in Ayrshire. Situated on the
outskirts of Kilmarnock, the course is a par 71
parklands located within the grounds of Annanhill
estate. The course was opened in 1957 and is
well placed in east Ayrshire, 15 minutes from
Troon, with many of the open qualifying courses
within 30-40 minutes drive. Stunning views are
ensured, but the 18 holes are also a challenging
test of your golfing skills. One of the best holes is
the 12th, a tough par 4 up a hill, and the 17th, a
par 3 of 185 yards.The clubhouse has a seating
capacity of 80 and has a well equipped bar and
catering facility, ideal for parties and functions,
which can be booked by contacting the clubhouse
direct. There is a good atmosphere at Annanhill
and visitors are always welcome.
