Music and the Arts
If you love live music, Tolbooth could be destined
to become your favourite Stirling venue. Tolbooth
is located in the midst of Stirling’s old town in a
beautiful historic building which dates back to
the 17th century. It also plays host to local acts
and undiscovered talent, so if you’re in a band
and looking for somewhere to strut your stuff,
your next stop should be Tolbooth. In addition
to putting on live music, Tolbooth regularly hosts
performance art, exhibitions and art classes.
Summer workshops offer classes in everything
from weaving to digital photography, with many
of them open to children as young as six.
Tolbooth itself is imbued with charm, history and
warmth – attributes that are all too often lacking
from modern live venues. If you’re looking for
somewhere to catch up with your favourite bands
or even somewhere to discover a new favourite

City Nightclub is one of Perth’s most popular
