Behind the Wall is a trendy café, bar and
restaurant located in the very heart of Falkirk.
A self-proclaimed ‘multi-space venue’, BTW is a
flexible space where you can eat, drink, dance
and even watch your favourite sports on TV.
The venue has existed since 1985 and has built
up a large following of loyal customers from in
and around the Falkirk area. Behind the Wall is
separated into different areas, each of which
provides a completely different mood, the food
is fresh and filling, and there’s also an extensive
drinks menu that diverges from the usual tried-
and-tested staples. Behind the Wall is a family-
friendly restaurant, and there’s also a conservatory
and garden in which they can enjoy playing. If you
want to come for lunch with your laptop, the bar
also offers free Wi-Fi, so you can cram in some
work while polishing off a hearty sandwich.

The Carron Works is Falkirk’s very own
