Pierre’s consistently receives excellent reviews,
thanks to its simple and delicious Scottish-French
fusion cooking. The restaurant is sophisticated
and chic, but unfussy, offering an intimate and
friendly atmosphere. Pierre’s serves light lunches,
a mouthwatering a la carte selection and hearty,
traditional home-cooked Sunday roasts. Enjoy high-
quality Scottish produce, including meat from local
butcher Malcolm Allan. The continental-inspired
sweet and savoury crepes are a highlight and there
are delicious gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian
meal options available, as well as an extensive wine
list. All dishes are beautifully presented, served at
tables with crisp white tablecloths, silverware and
freshly cut flowers. The service is widely reported
as excellent - professional and attentive, bringing
clientele back time and again. Pierre’s is a great
choice for a celebration, romantic date night or for
frequent local meals out.

Café Tabou is one of Perth’s finest restaurants.
Offering delightful French cuisine in a charming
little venue, it’s no surprise that Tabou is popular
with locals and visitors alike. This isn’t a budget
restaurant, but a meal here can nevertheless work
out reasonably; Café Tabou offers pre-theatre
deals which are attractively priced. There’s also
a lunch menu, served from midday until 3pm,
which features dishes similar to the dinner menu
but toned down just a little. If you’re a local and
a keen foodie, you may wish to head there for
one of Tabou’s famous ‘event nights’, which
include champagne dinners and world cuisine
‘tours’ which are to be savoured. As one would
expect from any good French restaurant, there’s
an extensive wine list featuring some of the best
Mediterranean wines to perfectly complement
your food. A leisurely meal with friends in Café
Tabou is undoubtedly one of life’s pleasures.
