The restaurant dates back to 1976, during which
time it has remained a family-run establishment.
In 2012, Sanam Tandoori underwent stylish
refurbishments, making a visit here as enjoyable
for the eye as for the taste buds. This is fine dining
with carefully prepared dishes, available to eat
in or take away. Children have their own menu
to choose from, while adults can order from the
lunchtime or a la carte menus, including Western
favourites. There are also multiple-course set
meal options, enabling you to explore a variety of
Indian dishes in one sitting.

At this restaurant you are made to feel like a
Nawab. If you’re wondering what that means - a
Nawab was an honour passed on by the reigning
Mughal emperor. It’s appropriate given that the
cuisine here is authentic Mughlai fare, served in
contemporary, urban-inspired surroundings. Dine
here for lunch or dinner, or take your food away
to eat at home. Vouchers can be purchased,
enabling you to give - or receive - the gift of
great food. The unusual and exotic menu offers
delicious seafoods, meats, pulses and vegetables
cooked with aromatic spices and seasoning, using
traditional Mughal recipes. For those who prefer
something less adventurous, there are European
dishes, as well as a menu to suit kids’ palates.
Seating up to 150, Nawab is suitable as a venue
for your special event, corporate function, or for a
