Jholpai restaurant has been providing the Lanarkshire

chefs are passionate about providing high quality
dishes that are zingy, toothsome and authentic. The

service, with all meals cooked to order and delivered

browsing Jholpai’s extensive menu? Try one of the
clay oven dishes. This traditional and healthy method
of cooking various meat and seafood captures all the
flavours and natural goodness of food and is low in
fat. Other appetising options include classic tikka,
made with tender diced chicken or lamb marinated in
mild spice and grilled in the clay oven. Alternatively,
try the sizzling chicken or lamb nawabi, barbecued
with garlic, ginger, onion, herbs and spices with a
dash of brandy. Typically courteous service coupled

Crown Jewel
Crown Jewel is a contemporary Indian restaurant
that prides itself on the quality of its food. The
decor is warm and inviting, the hospitality is
excellent and the food...well, where to start?
The Coatbridge restaurant’s menu is populated
with classic Indian dishes, including succulent
chicken tandoori, cooked on or off the bone and
marinated with mixed spices, yogurt, garlic and
ginger. There’s more to Crown Jewel than chicken
though – much more. The lamb is also excellent,
juicy chunks of it served with a yogurt, mint and
cashew nut sauce. Chilli fiends will prefer the
Jammu, cooked with lemon juice, herbs, spices,
ginger and garlic. For those who know what they
want and want what they know, Crown Jewel
serves up familiar favourites in the form of balti,
korma, madras and bhuna, made with chicken,
fish, lamb, king prawn or as a vegetarian option to
sit in, takeaway or for home delivery.
