One of Oxfordshire’s finest, the undulating parkland
course at Oxford Golf Club offers views of historic
Oxford and its beautiful surrounding countryside.
The 18-hole par-70 course, built mainly on sand,
is located just two miles from the centre of the
city but offers all the tranquillity of being deep in
the countryside. This hidden gem of a course
was originally designed in 1922 by the legendary
golf course architect Harry Colt and proves a
challenge to golfers of all standards including
visitors, societies and members alike. A great
variety of trees including oaks, poplars, willows and
hawthorns, plus an abundance of wildlife including
deer, rabbits, pheasants and red kites, make the
club a blissfully relaxing haven that’s at one with
nature. The superb quality of Oxford Golf Club’s
