Nuffield Health operate The Manor Hospital, a state-
of-the-art facility located in Headington, to the east
of Oxford city centre. The hospital is one of the most
modern and technologically advanced private hospitals
in the UK, boasting 64 private en-suite bedrooms and
six high specification surgical theatres. There’s also an
advanced interventional cardiac suite that can provide
vascular and neuro-vascular imaging and intervention.
Two minor procedure suites are on-site for day case
and outpatient surgery, while a cardiology unit includes
echocardiography and stress testing. 24-hour ECG
analysis is also available. The hospital is equipped
with a registered pharmacy and radiology unit including
mammography, ultrasound, MRI scans and CT scans,
on-site pathology laboratory and physiotherapy suite,
with specialist services for orthopaedic care, spinal care
and cardiac rehabilitation. An oncology suite provides
inpatient and outpatient care, supported by a specialist
breast care nurse. Its paediatric services, meanwhile,

Officer, a private GP service and a health assessment

their fields including Nervesense, a leading provider
of intra-operative neuro-monitoring which offers an
insight into the nervous system during spinal, nerve
and brain-related surgeries. Your consultant will meet
you at your initial outpatient visit, and will diagnose and
lead any treatment you need. They will also answer any
questions you might have so you can feel fully informed
and reassured throughout. If you’re simply feeling
unwell and not sure which specialist service you need,
the private GP service will assist you in identifying what
is troubling you.
