Oxford Golf Centre takes
great pride in the quality of its
facilities, believing them to be
some of the best in the country.
The driving range, which was
rebuilt in 2003, features 18
indoor carpeted range bays all
with the latest automatic teeing
system from Powertee. High
quality two-piece Srixon range
balls are supplied, which are
always spotless and dry. Line
up your iron and strike through
the ball, aiming to cover as
much of the 270-yard outfield
with real target greens as
possible. There’s also a grass
wedge zone for practicing
your close game. The large
academy tee and bunker
practice green are designed
for use in golf lessons, while
the fairway bunker is for long
range bunker shots. With
a relaxing atmosphere and
friendly vibe, experienced
golfers and newcomers alike
are made to feel welcome at
Oxford Golf Centre, the only
range in the area to utilise an
automatic teeing system. Show
up to whack a few golf balls
and relish the satisfying release
that comes from sending a ball
into the long grass. Even if
you scarcely pass the 50 yard
mark, you should have a few
laughs as you hone your skills
along the way.
