party package to suit. Thanks to its prime location
in the beautiful Cardiff Bay, Salt is coveted for its
panoramic views from the balcony, with revellers
gazing out over the tranquil bay. By day Salt is
classy and civilised; by night it transforms into
a vibrant party venue. While the drinks menu is
accomplished, it’s the food menu that demands a
closer look and ensures repeat visits. There’s a lot
to love amidst a diverse menu that caters to most
tastes. To start, try the king prawn cocktail made
with juicy prawns in a Marie Rose sauce served in
baby gem leaves with brown bread and butter. To
follow, the sharers come generously loaded and
fairly priced, with the meat lover’s option featuring
cajun chicken skewers, southern fried chicken
fillets and nachos topped with BBQ pulled pork.
It’s all served with cheesy garlic bread, cajun onion
