CAFES, BARS & CLUBS
The Cambrian Tap, which
was formerly Irish pub
Kitty Flynn’s, stands on the
corner of St Mary Street and
Caroline Street. The original
pub on the site was built
almost two centuries ago and
the new establishment has a
special focus on craft beers
from across the UK and
abroad. Features include
an enormous ‘Whose Beer’
wall, showcasing those
who have inspired and
contributed to the extensive
range of beers from Brains
Craft Brewery. Stout, IPA,
amber ale, weiss beer, rye
beer, pale ale, premium
bitter, porter and pilsner: you
name it, Cambrian Tap have
it. An extensive bottled beer
range and 18 draught taps
feature an eclectic array of
craft beers as well as serving
old favourites such as Barry
Island IPA and Bragging
Rights. The world of beer
can seem bewildering to
newcomers but fear not;
the friendly bar staff will
guide you to your perfect
craft beer. They cater for
wine lovers too and serve a
delicious range of speciality
pork pies to boot. Good beer
and good people equal good
times at The Cambrian Tap.
