Tiny Rebel is an offbeat brick-walled bar with
themed rooms that serves craft beers and ciders
and creative burgers. Formerly known as Urban
Tap House, it’s since been treated to a stylish
renovation that’s reminiscent of BrewDog, with
the same minimal, industrial chic. The bar stocks
a great range of Tiny Rebel beers including a
small batch brew plus a good guest list including
the likes of Beavertown sour. Located in an area
well worth frequenting for craft beer in Cardiff (a
Brains pub is just around the corner), Tiny Rebel
is a must for any craft beer enthusiast who loves
Welsh beer in particular. The historic building is
finished in a distinctive blood red, just like the
Customs house down at the harbour, while the
decor and furnishings are quite modern. A series
of screens inform customers of what’s on tap and
the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
