For award-winning Balti and Tandoori cuisine, pay a
visit to Jahangir. The restaurant serves dinner until
midnight seven days a week, and lunch six days a
week. There’s also an extensive takeaway menu,
with food available to order and collect, or for home
delivery. Diners eating in can choose from the a la
carte menu, or exclusive set meals for an express
lunch or pre-theatre visit. Dishes feature exotic
spices, marinades, distinctive flavours and aromas,
all freshly created each day by the experienced
chefs. Many celebrities have passed through the
doors since Jahangir Tandoori opened in 1998,
including Richard Wilson, Kevin Keegan and Gary
Lineker. The restaurant takes its name from Prince
Jahangir, whose son commissioned the building of
the Taj Mahal in the 1600s. Artwork throughout the
venue pays homage to the historical figure, with
sophisticated elegance. Seating is first come first
served, or by reservation.
