have a day to work on your
swing? Shetland Golf Club not
only offers memberships for
golf enthusiasts but also gives
visitors the chance to have a
go on their course. Golf clubs
are available to hire on a daily
basis from the clubhouse and
beginners sessions take place
in the evenings, with spaces
available for players of all
ages and ability. Located just
outside the capital of Shetland,
Lerwick, the course provides
long hours of daylight during
the summer, perfect for playing
late into the evening and
opportunities for a midnight
tee-off. Coaching sessions for
juniors also occur throughout
summer and the club hosts
open competitions for men,
women and juniors during
the regular season. New
members are always invited
to join and the club is happy
to cater to group bookings if
requested in advance. Social
events for members take
place throughout the year. The
18-hole Shetland Golf Club is
an unforgettably picturesque
locale to play a varied and
interesting game of golf in a
