M&D’S
M&D’s, dubbed Scotland’s
Theme Park, is a popular
amusement park located in
Motherwell, North Lanarkshire.
Bordering on Strathclyde
Park, the park contains four
operating rollercoasters and
two water rides along with
a whole heap of fairground
rides. M&D’s boasts over 40
rides and attractions in all,
including a log flume and a
number of rides designed for
younger children. Mad Mouse,
the latest roller coaster to
enter the park, was added to
the theme park for the 2016
season. As well as a dizzying
range of rides and attractions
including over 20 designed for
kids only, there’s ‘glow in the
dark’ indoor bowling, a gigantic
soft play area, Game Zone with
the very latest amusements
and games, bars, restaurants,
a four star hotel and lots
of seasonal events unique
to M&D’s. Visitors can also
discover Amazonia, Scotland’s
only indoor tropical rainforest
packed with exotic animals,
birds and creepy crawlies.
With thrill rides featuring such
epic names as The Giant
Condor, Flying Carpet and
Runaway Mine Train, M&D’s
welcomes fearless families
seeking an adrenaline-fuelled
day of sheer fun.
