Square Peg is a chic coffee
shop in Sketty that’s the result
of three years’ planning by
the Swansea based social
enterprise Poverty to Purpose.
A mixture of crowdfunding
and some generous support
from the Swansea business
community
helped
make
it happen. Square Peg is
dedicated to serving great
tasting coffee, just as you’d
expect, with head honchos Matt
and Josh the ‘coffee geeks’
tasked with continually testing
the coffee for consistency,
trying new brewing methods
and
most
importantly
discovering the origins of their
coffee. Their single origin
coffee from El Salvador has
been ethically sourced and
met with rave reviews by all
who’ve been fortunate enough
to sample it. Square Peg is a
great place to get a cuppa, with
profits used for good causes.
In addition, the coffee house
is starting a unique apprentice
scheme for local young people
who need a helping hand into
work. Pop in, have a coffee and
a chat to discover more about
the Square Peg story. Think
healthy food, great coffee and
tasty treats, all served in a
stylish space.
