Just walking into the huge,
gothic church takes you
back in time – that is, until
you hear the bar’s music
and take in the trendy and
stylish interior. Not a place
for the faint-hearted or those
looking for a quiet evening
drink, Frankenstein’s has
a wonderful atmosphere
of fun and frolics, which is
helped along by the large
Frankenstein figure which is
daily lowered from the ceiling
at regular intervals. The bar
serves an array of drinks,
including a wide selection of
ales and wines, and also has
a very good food menu. The
menu ranges from ‘light bites
and snacks’, which includes
sharing platters, nachos and
buffalo wings, to burgers,
sandwiches, salads and
desserts. If you’re looking for
somewhere a little different
to grab a bite to eat and
have a round of drinks with
your friends, Frankenstein’s
