monkfish, halibut and cod are all lightly cooked to
bring out their natural flavours and paired with an
inspired choice of vegetables and spices. Chef and
proprietor Derek Marshall takes a real pride in his
work, with an attention to detail that ensures every
plate is a miniature work of art. The seasonal menu
highlights the provenance of all its seafood, much of
which is sourced in Scottish waters. Start your meal
with half a dozen oysters or a fish soup made with
Portland crabmeat and prawn dumplings before
agonising over half a dozen appetising mains.
Every mouthful leaves a lasting impression. Finish
proceedings with a white chocolate parfait or warm

The Fish People Café offers fine dining in a
relaxed French bistro atmosphere, showcasing

neighbouring fishmonger to ensure the freshest
