THE GLEE CLUB
The Glee Club Glasgow
11 Renfrew Street, G2 3AB

Glee is the newest comedy & music venue in the
heart of Glasgow, which opened in February 2019.
Founded nearly 25 years ago in Birmingham,
the multi award-winning Glee Club is loved by
comedians and fans alike, and has seen the likes
of Jimmy Carr, Adele, Kevin Bridges, Michael
McIntyre, Lee Evans, Jake Bugg, Jack Dee, Jo
Brand, Sarah Millican & Russell Howard grace
its stages. Long-time fans of Glasgow’s stand-up
scene will find themselves pleasantly surprised
when attending the Friday Night Comedy show at
the city’s newest venue. The Glee Club’s expansion
to Glasgow provides an exciting opportunity that
bridges the gap between the more intimate comic
experiences exemplified by other clubs and larger,
theatrical venues. The playhouse size of the club
offers the potential to accommodate a market
between smaller and larger venues, and with
that, to expand the range of opportunities for both
audiences and performers.
