delicious, but Tuscan food is
particularly moreish. Head
to Cecchini’s next time you
fancy a pizza or pasta,
and tuck in to a delightful
array of authentic dishes.
The ristorante, located on
Fort Street in Wellington
Square, is the place to visit
if you crave a meal worth
remembering. Menus offer a
variety of delectable Tuscan
dishes such as Caprese
and Antipasto, but you can
also order a home-made
Scottish beef burger if you
fancy something a little
more simple. Start with
the chef’s own Pate Della
Casa, a chicken liver pate
served with delicious garlic
bread and follow this with a
traditional Vitello Milanese.
An escalope of veal breaded
and fried, this dish comes with
a scrumptious sauce which
hails from Naples. If you fancy
fish, try the best of Scottish
produce, including sea bass,
tiger prawns and salmon. You
can pick up a free dish every
Monday and Wednesday, as
both pizza and pasta is on
‘buy one, get one free.’ The
kids are also in for a treat, as
they’ll eat free from 12pm to
7pm every Sunday.
