GLASGOW, G2 5EZ

The 1980s was an iconic era for clothes, makeup
and of course, music. Club Tropicana is one of
Scotland’s original retro nightclubs, offering
party seekers the chance to dance till the early
hours of the morning, to some of the best music
the era had to offer. The venue is colourful and
fun, adorned with a glitter ball for an authentic
feel. Clubbers are encouraged to sing along
too, with tunes from the likes of Spandau Ballet,
Simple Minds, Michael Jackson, Rick Astley,
Madonna and many more. The drinks are
great value from as little as £2, and the venue
regularly has special theme nights for events
like Halloween and in honour of ‘80s musical
heroes and heroines. For great savings, book
your place on the guestlist. Grab some friends
and dress up 1980s style, for some nostalgic
fun on the dance floor.

The funky urban-styled bar is dog-friendly, with an
al fresco area and free WiFi. Lebowskis caters for
functions, especially work parties, offering hearty
buffets, drinks packages and cocktail making
classes. The kitchen serves up ‘burgers you can
sink your teeth into’: juicy and filling beef, chicken,
pulled pork, mushroom and bean variations.
There’s also salads, sharing boards, pasta, pies,
curries, hot dogs, sides, desserts and snacks.
Lunchtime deals include soups and sandwiches,
while brunch is served from 10am to 3pm at the
weekend. The cocktail menu is epic, with the
house speciality range of White Russians being
the main event. There’s plenty of beers on tap too,
as well as wine, spirits, and hot drinks.
