Dalry, an area to the west of the city, is fast becoming
an epicurean hotspot. It is here you’ll find the popular
Locanda De Gusti. The restaurant’s strap line is
‘honest, sincere, simple’ - and this is what you can
expect. The cuisine is authentic Neapolitan fare
made with love and passion, under the direction of
Chef Rosario Sartore and his wife Maria. Dishes are
made using artisan ingredients imported from Italy,
alongside local meat, fish and seafood produce. The
pasta is made daily in-house from fresh ingredients,
and (like the desserts) is gluten-free. Choose from
a range of starters, mains and desserts, or opt for
the set tasting menu to experience a variety of
Locanda De Gusti’s flavours. Peruse the wine list
for an Italian wine to enjoy along with your meal.
The restaurant has two AA rosettes, an Eccellenze
Italiane Certificato (2018 - 2019) and several other
awards. Expect a warm, Italian welcome and great

Tempo Perso can be found in the heart of
Edinburgh’s trendy and upmarket district of
Bruntsfield. The Iacobelli family take food very
seriously and this passion is reflected in the
evolution of the Tempo Perso menu. The popular
daily specials menu, further emphasises the focus
on fresh, culinary delights. So whether you’d like
to sample Scotland’s most impressive (and largest)
Italian wine list alongside a delicious antipasti
sharing board or tuck in to a beautiful handmade
pasta dish – your palate will be seduced within this
charming space. Feast on hearty pastas, risottos,
meats, seafood, Italian-style burgers and salads, as
well as sharing platters and a range of small plates
and sides. For after, Tempo Perso’s dolce is a must
try. The ice cream is from local producer Nardini’s
and the desserts are all handmade. Tempo Perso
serves fantastic lunches and dinner, seven days a
